is a random post precisely random?
heya guys, its nice to be blogging again. i seriously doubt that this post would be read by anyone as i haven't been blonking a blog forever. but whatever, if any kind soul happens to read this post by chance or purpose, please do leave a 'hi' in my chatbox. I AM a social being and i crave attention.
seriously. i'm not kidding.
alright, back to my topic for this glorious sunday.
how many times have you guys come across a post that forewarns, 'random post ahead', or 'randomly random post'? the author might as well be saying 'i'm gay and do read my post'. haha, ok that was a joke. and no, i'm not a gay-basher, at least not publicly.
well, ladies and gentlemen, due to the abundance of time i've had recently, i discovered a breakthrough. this is thoroughly my thought and opinion, so please, for your own sake, take it with a pinch of salt.
righty, here goes. 'Random' as a word is defined by cambridge dictionary as "happening, done or chosen by chance rather than according to a plan". i beg to differ. see, if you think about it, Morpheus from 'The Matrix' once said that nothing with a purpose happens by chance. ok alright, Morpheus never said that, but thats still bladdy true. Think about it. a blogger comes online, logs onto her (chances of female bloggers posting random blogs are significantly higher, as they think a random blog makes them more mysterious which they believe that guys would dig) account, and then proceeds to go through the tedious process of inputing her passwords and accessing her dashboard, only to say five minutes later, 'ooh, this is sooo random, i'm likee sooo not wanting to be posting on like, my blog, but well since, like i'm like here, so i'm like gonna post like a RANDOM blog. random my arse. that blogger accessed her account with a purpose to blog, so imo, that post was certainly neither happening nor done by chance.
so next time you think about titling your post 'randomly random randomness', you should just shoot yerself. haha, man i had a great posting. check back for more, dudes and dudettes.
