I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus
howdy folks.
the holidays are in. some friends have started on their vacation jobs, namely ibee-chan. the others are chilling at home, hanging out in town or trying to find meaning for their lives. right, so that last part won't exactly be happening. but regardless, people do that alot and quite often too. people try to answer the aged-old questions like, where're we going, where're they from, why is this guy spanking my arse? sick. grotesque. darn, that last part reminded me of the bladdy brokeback scene.
Well, people find meanings in lots of things in the world. Normal people find faith in religions. Of course, there're always oddballs and loose-screws dedicating their lives to star trek, hairy POT-ter or even plastic toys shaped like laser-swords.
Religions all share a similar purpose, to keep people on the good track, which is supposedly the right track. What many people don't know is that what Christ gave us, is more than a religion. By His death, He gave us the right to be sons and daugthers of God. Just picture this people, you get to call the Almighty your DADDY. thisss is mind-blowing. An omnipotent being who is all about love, and you get to have a Father-child relationship with God. I am grateful for that.
Because of that, I get to have everything I want. I mean, come on, My Daddy is God. I don't know about you, but I doubt I would have to ever worry about anything ever again.
lastly, did you folks know that santa claus is a paganistic idea. yea, chubby old man is the world's way of coping for the lack of luuve during Christmas, and he probably lives in Ireland. hah, no offense to the Irish. if only pagans knew about the love that they're missing out...

What exactly the last post means is anyone's guess. Jibing the Irish for no apparent reason and then expressing no offense makes little sense. In a World tending to increasingly commercialise a secular holiday celebration, the last post really seems to fit. Talking about Christmas being a paganistic idea is factually innaccurate and goes some way toward demonstrating the lack of understanding for the event's original and true meaning: the celebrating of the "Saviour's" birthday. Perhaps if people took the time to celebrate the time in a festive and altruisitc manner rather than irreverantly ranting about particular nationalities and faiths, it would be a nicer time of year. Not all individuals looking for meaning in Christmas are "oddballs and loose-screws", so cheer up and get festive!
