Technicalities of a relationship.
Believe me when I tell you that the mechanical bits of a relationship can be really frustrating.
But a couple does not live in the lovey-dovey moments forever. Within these special moments which both the laddie and his babe wish would never end, everything is "yes" and "ok", and "sure, I promise you that". Now, what is going to happen when both parties lose that consciousness that they are in love? By this, I don't mean that they are no longer in love, but merely that they have lost the consciousness that he/she is the special someone. An analogy: a soldier could forget his allegiance to his country in the face of his family. It's not that he is no longer loyal to his nation, but just that there are periods of time when that consciousness simply does not exist.
Frankly, a couple should not live in this dreamy state too much. Wisdom would encourage you to deal with these mechanical bits which surely would come along. By running away or postponing the resolution of the problem, the couple is living in a temporal state of denial.
Be encouraged, I would say. Life is not a bed of roses, what more a romantic relationship? Problems would arise, but they aren't here to stay for long. Plus, overcoming these problems would strengthen the relationship in unbelievable ways. So, start dealing with your problems today. More importantly, let the wisdom of God guide you. Cheerios...
