Now, the taboo issue of being gay.
Why is it always such that intolerance for gays is greater than that for lesbians? Sure, there are some biological explanations behind this, but I believe that our Asian convervatism is the chief cause of this conception. Especially so among my generation, which can be considered to be quite aged. Alright, so I am only 21. Still, most of my school peeps cannot bolster such claims.
Adolescence. Yes, one of the many prime seasons in one's life. The average adolescence female would go through fleeting moments of crushing on their seniors. And yes, of course. For some girls, they never quite fled from these emotions. This is probably something to do with the female biological gears and is generally accepted within our society. The same can't be said for gays though. Most boys don't develop crushes for their seniors. Naturally, there'd be exceptions.
I would decline to go any further, in case our very fine Sedition Act puts me behind bars. What I believe is that racial and sexual intolerance persists in every society. Rationally, it'd be good if a community lives in harmony without intolerance of any forms.
